In Tevet (Dec. 27th – Jan. 24th) we will deepen our understanding and our
experience of tefillah, Jewish prayer. Enrich your prayer lives through learning or
deepen your skills by leading davening beginning. As you kindle the flame in your
heart, make your voice be heard as we come together at the JCC for Kabbalat
Shabbat followed by a potluck dinner.
On Shabbat, January 14th, after kiddush in the Small Sanctuary, we will
deepen our learning and touch upon our experience of tefillah, the most
transformative practice of Jewish religious life. Rabbi Berg will facilitate our
Community and Connection: Kabbalat Shabbat and Potluck Dinner at the JCC
on January 20th – come and celebrate Shabbat through music and song. Let your
voice be heard at our participatory Kabbalat Shabbat service followed by a delicious
community dinner. See the flier for details.
