Let’s gather to show our support for and solidarity with our Muslims friends today March 17 at 1 p.m. at the Islamic Center of Rochester, 727 Westfall Road in Brighton. Sunday school will be in session during that time, and midday prayers take place at 1:30 p.m., so please bring handmade signs with messages of love and support.
We will stand outside the mosque to greet worshippers as they enter and let them know they are not alone, that we are a community that values diversity and celebrates difference, and that we will not tolerate any form of hate.
