President’s Message

Temple Beth David was established more than 60 years ago. We are an egalitarian, relationship-oriented congregation in the Conservative tradition. Our congregation is diverse and welcoming to families and individuals. We are small and remain fewer than 200 families, preserving our our sense of family and connection with each other. We nurture and maintain a community of active and involved members that attend services, programs/events, and joyfully serve the congregation and community. Our greatest resource is our members and their commitment to our Temple community, the Jewish community, to Judaism, and to each other. We offer many paths to synagogue involvement: prayer, education, celebration and social activities. Beth David is about belonging to a community where you are accepted for who you are, supported in growing Judaically and spiritually on the path that is right for you, encouraged to experience opportunities for learning at every age and every level, and appreciated as you make your mark on the greater Jewish world. Please contact the Temple Beth David office for more information. tbdrochester.org 585-266-3223 I believe we have something quite special to share that is not easily found elsewhere. We invite you to stop in for Shabbat services or any of our programs and events, and to stay to chat awhile. Wonderful spiritual, educational and social experiences occur here. l'shalom, Helen Kashtan President
